The
Jo-Kat Power drive unit
The Jo-Kat power drive unit attaches to
most Rotec cutters.
The drive unit mounts to the top of the
cutter. With the side guides positioned properly
the paper is driven into the cut area. The white roller in the middle of
the plate is the
pressure roller. The drive roller and motor are located behind the feed
plate. There is
a photo sensor that senses the paper as it passes it. This activates a
timer that activates
the clutch button. The paper is then driven through the die cutter. There
is a separate power switch for the drive assembly. The white roller can
easily be removed for manual operation.
